"I Meant to Tell You"

When I was a rookie in my own practice 34 years ago here in Exton, PA I would hear from patients "Yea doc, I am improving for sure but I meant to tell you."

Back then, when I was a rookie, and I heard I meant to tell you from a new patient I would immediately think- What did I do wrong? Did I hurt this patient, say something out of line, etc.

When I heard that phrase, I would break out into  a sweat and say I don't know if I can make it...

But, I quickly learned that almost all the time that I would hear I meant to tell you it was patients saying to me "Yea doc, I feel better but I meant to tell you that I noticed other things improving in my body as well..."

That aspect of chiropractic has been apart of what I have been doing my whole career. Patients realizing that they come in for a particular reason most of the time but end up consciously recognizing the benefit of multiple other aspects of their health due to chiropractic. That is certainly a wonderful aspect of this profession and that aspect continues to this day.

That is apart of my work that is gratifying and drives me each day- realizing that you're helping people on multiple levels regain their optimal health.
