Please drive carefully, BUT...

I have a patient who owns his own auto repair shop and they do towing as well. I have known this patient for a long time and he is often telling me what a big percentage the accidents he is involved with are from distracted driving.

So I urge all of you to check yourselves when it comes to how much you are doing at the wheel to distract yourself.

If, unfortunately, you do get into a car accident I would like to remind you how important it is to seek chiropractic care. Many times people don't feel they are injured or hurt but slowly the symptoms start to manifest.

I can't tell you how wonderful chiropractic care is for post trauma (as long as there are now fractures). It is certainly fine to receive chiropractic care if you have a fracture, but not until at least 8 weeks later for the bones to heal. Receive chiropractic care post trauma is a great way to help the body reset and heal including headache management, back alignment, etc. Healing can happen in a more uniform way and receiving care can help to prevent chronic issues that might appear months after an accident.

So please give us a call if you or anyone you know are in an accident- we are here and happy to help them feel better. Again, please check your distractions when driving- this could mean the difference between a healthy lifestyle and something worse.

See you in the office!

Yours in good health,

Dr. Ray and Staff
